The two small fires on James Smith were listed by Wildfire management as “Out” as of August 21st, 2017.
The fire to the north, 17PA-JSIR01, was shown to be 4.1 hectares and the smaller one closer to the community, 17PA-JSIR02, remained listed at 0.5 hectares.
2 small wildfires were detected Saturday, August 19th on James Smith IR, both fires were listed as human caused and are now under control.
The southern most fire was in a treed area on the north side of the residential area. The fire was quickly contained and listed as only 0.5 hectares by wildfire management.
Another fire to the north was shown as Not Contained last night but as of 8 am this morning has been listed as Contained and was recorded as 2 hectares in size.
