As of today, Saturday January 20th, the Natural Healing Clinic in White Fox will no longer be providing counselling to it’s hundreds of customers who have turned to them in the six months they were open for guidance with their medical marijuana prescriptions.
For Nipawin News, this is a sad day indeed. To see any local business fold is painful enough but the end of the line for White Fox Natural Healing Clinic signifies the end of a local business who stood by us from the very beginning as our sponsor to take our news from online to on the air on CJNE FM 94.7 in Nipawin.
It is White Fox Natural Healing Clinic that has been the one single business to support us in our partnership with CJNE FM to bring my news reports to the radio, from the very start, with no guarantee of business to be garnered. They were the only ones to acknowledge the need to support truly local journalism.
Dean and the staff of WFNHC have embodied the essence of “shop local” something preached but rarely practiced these days. I can’t thank Dean and the girls enough for what they have done for Nipawin News and CJNE FM in these past 6 months.
I wish them the best in their new venture and am thrilled to know they will still be staying in White Fox to provide yet another top notch business to serve our fishing community.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, please bear with me.
It is with a deeply saddened heart that I must inform all of you great people that due to political pressure, and other forces that be, that Saturday will be the last day we will be able to meet your medical needs. The community has been nothing but supportive to the gals and I.
I personally would like to apologize to all of you. Please don’t think I’m bailing out on you. I will remain here, and support this town as my own. I am proud to be allowed into this great community and will be opening a fantastic Bait and Tackle shop on Feb.1st.
I hope that you all have a voice and be heard.
All I hope is that I did not in any way, bring any kind of dark cloud to this wonderful town.
