White Fox Bridge Closed Temporarily for Repairs – Re-opened December 6th, 2017

UPDATE: According to the RM of Torch River web site, the White Fox Bridge is now open effective December 6th, 2017

The RM of Torch River issues a notice that the White Fox Bridge will be temporarily closed for repairs beginning November 14, 2017. Detours and signage are in place. Your cooperation during the temporary bridge closure is greatly appreciated.

The bridge is located on the White Fox Grid crossing the White Fox River approximately 5 miles north of the junction of Highways 35 & 55.

The bridge was subject to high water erosion in the fall of 2016, and damaged again in the spring of 2017 run off. Massive ice accumulation built up on the west side of the bridge causing significant damage. Temporary repairs had been done to the bridge to enable it’s use through the summer and fall.
