Meath Park, SK Monday June 11th, 4:48 pm – The Village of Meath Park announced late Monday that the village water system has completed the required testing and is now safe to consume.
A series of water tests had to be taken after a break-in at the water treatment plant last week. The reservoirs were drained and flushed Tuesday night and the distribution system was flushed Wednesday morning. Residents where then able to use the water for bathing and laundry, though the Village warned not to use their tap water for drinking or cooking until water testing was complete.
Once the testing was completed, the ban was lifted and residents where informed there where no issues found with the water.
