Traffic Stop Leads to Charges of Meth & Cocaine Possession

On September 24th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Nipawin RCMP conducted a traffic stop on Highway #55 near the Community of Love.

Two occupants were arrested and detained during the stop. Approximately 28 grams (1 ounce) of Cocaine and 7 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine was located and seized. One occupant has been charged as follows:

Racheal Priscilla Budd (age 26) of Nipawin, Saskatchewan

• Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking – 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

• Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking – 5(2) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The accused is scheduled to make her first court appearance at Nipawin Provincial Court on October 25th, 2017 at 10.00 a.m.
