On Friday, October 27th, Nipawin Council held a special meeting at which it was resolved to end the current food services contract, effective Monday October 30th, 2017 at the Evergreen Centre Restaurant.
In a special council meeting held Thursday November 2nd in the Town of Nipawin chambers, the mayor and councillors met to hold an in-camera Committee of The Whole to address issues surrounding that resolution to ensure continued food services for facility users. The council directed administration to ensure arrangements are made with local food service providers for upcoming events and to investigate options for continued food service fulfillment at the Evergreen Centre.
