Torch River Farmers Working Hard to Beat The Rain

(Last Updated On: October 3, 2017)

I had the opportunity this past weekend to watch several Torch River farmers and their operators pouring on the coal to get their crops harvested before the forecasted rain hit or, heaven forbid, our first snowfall.

There have been some awfully long hours put in all over our region by our farmers, and I commend them for the sacrifices they make to bring food to our tables. There is a lot more left to be done, between crops that have yet been harvested, anhydrous applications and working fields so keep that in mind when you are traveling in the region.

The dust and setting sun made for some beautiful pictures of these hardworking men and women. Please enjoy some harvest images, taken up in the far northern region of the RM of Torch River in my photo album link below or follow this link: Torch River Harvest 2017
