The Spot Restaurant management had announced through a Facebook post on Monday August 27th, 2018, that the restaurant would be closed until further notice due to a water sprinkler going off and causing damage.
Nipawin Fire Department responded promptly to the incident, and the restaurant’s Facebook post included an expression of their gratitude; “Thank you to the Nipawin Fire Department for your prompt response to help with this matter!!“

In an update to their Facebook followers, owner-operator of the Spot Restaraunt & Lounge, Karinne Seiferling, provided more details about the consequences of the incident.
While they are working hard to ensure the kitchen will be ready for upcoming golf tournaments and booked catered functions, the restaurant itself may be closed for a few weeks.
I’d just like to keep everyone posted as far as the situation with the restaurant goes.
Currently we are waiting on the decision of the adjusters to whether or not the dining room flooring will need to be redone.
Our goal for this week is to get the kitchen up and running again so we are able to cater to our golf tournaments and catered functions that we have booked for the month.
As far as the restaurant goes it’s looking like we will be closed for the next few weeks ?
Of course we want to be up and running as soon as possible so I will do my best to keep everyone posted!
Sorry for the inconvenience to all; we hate this just as much as you do!!!! Thanks for all your patience ☺️ Karinne – The Spot Restaurant Facebook post
