Nipawin Area May See Above Normal Run-Off But Flood Levels Not Anticipated

On March 13th, 2018, the Water Security Agency (WSA) released an updated spring runoff outlook for 2018, confirming that the early March snowfall across much of southern Saskatchewan has raised projections for a near normal to above normal snowmelt runoff across most of the province, except some drier pockets in southwest and south central Saskatchewan. UPDATE: The winds have picked up and, as of 6:00 am, Environment Canada says they are up to 17 km/h at the airport, pushing the windchill factor down to -48
