Extreme Cold Warning Again for Eastern Saskatchewan


 Monday 28 January 2019 – The entire eastern side, along with most of northern and central Saskatchewan are under an extreme cold warning due to a period of very cold wind chills that are expected.

-44 Wind Chill – Seriously, Enough With The Cold Now! UPDATED

UPDATE: The winds have picked up and, as of 6:00 am, Environment Canada says they are up to 17 km/h at the airport, pushing the windchill factor down to -48

Although Environment Canada has not issued an Extreme cold warning for Nipawin and area, at least not as of 5:00 am this morning, they are showing the current wind chill factor at the Nipawin Airport as being -44.  Read more about -44 Wind Chill – Seriously, Enough With The Cold Now! UPDATED
