Suspicious Persons/Attempted Child-Luring Investigation – Rose Valley, SK

Greenwater RCMP and Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance from the public in solving the following occurrence which occurred on November, 22nd 2017 at approximately 6:20 p.m. Greenwater RCMP responded to a complaint of a 10-year-old child being approached by two unknown young adult males on 1st Avenue near the Community Hall in the town of Rose Valley, SK. The child ran away and the two males left on foot. One male was described as Caucasian, short, wearing glasses, a hooded sweatshirt, and spoke with an accent. The other male was described as Caucasian, tall and wearing a black toque.

Greenwater RCMP are actively investigating and have increased patrols at key times when children are active in the community. Investigators are also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying thetwo males or providing any information regarding suspicious activity in the area at that time.

The Greenwater RCMP would like to remind the public to report any suspicious activity to police.
