Beginning Thursday, August 1st, until Friday, August 30th, 2019, Nipawin News is extending an invitation to businesses in Nipawin and surrounding communities an opportunity to participate in our Spotlight on Nipawin; 30 Businesses – 30 Days promotion.
August 2019 marks two years serving the area
Since August 2017, Nipawin News has served almost 1/2 million page views to over 330,000 site visitors. I have over 1,200 email and social media followers as well as the extra reach gained in the Nipawin News Group on Facebook with it’s 2,500+ members.
While I had devoted non stop overtime into 2017 and 2018, I have not been able to do so in 2019. As much as Nipawin News is a labour of love, I have had to reduce my time I put into it, in order to work at other jobs to try to pay the bills. This has resulted in a big reduction of news coverage, however I would like to use this time to reach out to the business community and offer something that I feel will benefit Nipawin News, my readers and the local businesses.
30 businesses will be offered the opportunity to provide a sponsored article, at not cost to the business!
Sponsored articles on Nipawin News are a paid feature available to all advertisers. During the Spotlight on Nipawin; 30 Businesses – 30 Days promotion, 30 local businesses will have the opportunity to participate at no cost, however they must provide a written article and/or video and images ready for publishing.
Sponsored articles can come in many forms, such as a press release with news about your business, an announcement of new or expanding product lines, consumer education article, product reviews or even an entertaining twist you want to share with the community. Here are some suggestions…
How Do I Participate?
To join in on the Spotlight on Nipawin; 30 Businesses – 30 Days promotion, simply email Nipawin News using my contact form here, with the name and location of your business and your contact information, indicating your interest in the promotion. You will be contacted with further details. Please allow 48-72 hours for a response, not including weekends, but meanwhile start working on your article!
Businesses chosen to participate will need to tap the resources within their company to produce their article. Those unable to do so can be referred to freelance writers and graphics professionals who can assist, though they will be responsible for negotiating costs with any third parties Nipawin News refers them to.
