The fire is contained and remained very small at about 3 acres (est).

The fire guard has been completed and heavy equipment is now on standby. No further details are available yet from the ministry’s wildfire website.
A small wildfire has been detected northeast of Candle Lake near Heritage Lake along the 913.
Ministry of Environment crews are being dispatched along with some heavy equipment.
