Kat, a seal point Siamese cat, who has a litter of 6 nursing kittens waiting for her at home, has been missing from a rural property 13km east of Nipawin along Highway 55 since Tuesday, September 12th, 2017.
Her owner’s mother, Mary Chometsky, last saw her Tuesday morning when she was let out. By Tuesday evening she had not returned as she usually does to nurse her kittens, which is out of character for Kat who is a devoted mother to her kittens.
According to her Mary, she usually goes out and hunts for mice but remains on the property or in the ditch alongside the highway. Mary is concerned that someone travelling on the highway may have stopped to pick her up, assuming she was lost.
Mary also mentioned that Kat has gotten slightly darker than she was when the picture was taken.
