UPDATE – SaskPower : 10:04 am – Cumberland House, surrounding rural areas. Status: All power restored.
Residents of Cumberland House and surrounding rural areas lost power early Christmas morning and may not see it restored until noon. SaskPower reported they had crews dispatched at 3:27 am on Monday December 25th, however at 4:40 am the crews were still patrolling to find the cause of the outage.
In their latest update at 6:06 am, SaskPower reported that the crews had determined the cause of the outage and were working to restore power. At that time they had estimated power would not be restored until about 12 noon. SaskPower has not stated the cause of the outage at this time.
