On January 10 at 9:53am, the Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488 posted a clarification on their Facebook page regarding a media release that had been published December 8th, 2017.
“Media Release – January 8, 2018 – The intent of the media release dated December 8, 2017 was to state facts and not to imply that any or all of the members which resigned were connected with the code of ethics complaints received.
We apologize for the misconception and any confusion this may have caused.
We have received questions asking who was implied in the code of ethics complaints, unless and until the code of ethics complaints are made valid, the names will not be released.”
