RM of Torch River Administrator, Nathalie Hipkins has tendered her resignation, with her final day being Friday September 7th, 2018.
Assistant Administrator, Tracy Whitrow will assume Hipkins duties until a new Administrator is hired.
Hipkins stated in an informal discussion that she will be taking a position working as administrator for the RM of Nipawin and the Village of Codette, a position much closer to home for her.

ADMINISTRATOR – R.M. of Torch River No. 488 – The Rural Municipality of Torch River No.488 invites applications for a full-time Administrator. Qualifications:
* Applicant must possess a minimum Rural Class “C” Certificate in Local Government Administration.
* Applicant must possess strong communication, analytic and leadership skills.
* Experience with financial operations, operating and capital budgeting and the entire assessment and tax process, tax enforcement procedure and general office management.
* Working ability to use the MuniSoft software program and MS office software programs.The Administrator will report directly to Council, and work cooperatively with council to develop policies and apply best practices in the general management and operation of the municipality.
