In Facebook post Thursday, July 5th, the Rural Municipality of Nipawin No. 487, announced the resignation of the municipality’s Reeve, Mark Knox.
According to the post, his resignation was effective on June 26th, 2018. Deputy Reeve, Joe Woodward will fulfill the Reeve duties until the upcoming fall election, when Divisions 2, 4 & 6 Councillors will be elected.
Dear ratepayers, it is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that Reeve Mark Knox gave his resignation, effective June 26th. We wish him luck in his future. If you’re needing to speak to a member of council, please contact your division Councillor, or Deputy Reeve, Joe Woodward.
