Nipawin RCMP Search Warrant Leads to Recovery of Stolen Goods,Drug Charges

Nipawin RCMP Media ReleaseJune 4, at 11:05 a.m., Nipawin RCMP officers conducted a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence in Nipawin.

As a result of this search, officers seized approximately 2 lbs of methamphetamine, as well as stolen property believed to be from a local business in Nipawin. Officers also located other drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with drug trafficking.

41-year-old Randy Norman Hamilton of Nipawin has been charged with:

Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Methamphetamine)

Possession of Stolen Property under $5000

Possession of the Proceeds of Crime

Hamilton is currently in custody as a result of these outstanding charges and his next court appearance is pending.
