The Nipawin Fire Department, along with Nipawin RCMP responded to a call for a pickup truck fire in the parking lot of Matt’s No Frills.
“Upon arrival, it was determined that the emergency brake had seized causing the brakes to overheat and produce smoke.” A fire department representative stated in a post in the Nipawin Fire Department Facebook page, “No injuries were sustained, and the truck was towed to a local garage for repair. Thanks to our partners Nipawin RCMP for their quick response.’
