Saskatchewan Health Authority is pleased to announce the arrival of a new physician to serve the residents of Nipawin and surrounding area.
Dr. Akinwunmi Akinwuntan will be providing physician services with the Nipawin Medi-Clinic effective May 21st, 2018. He is originally from Ile-Ife in Nigeria. He received his Family Medicine training at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He also completed his post graduate training and a Master’s Degree at the University of Ibadan.
Dr. Akinwuntan has over 18 combined years of experience in the healthcare sector.
“We are very pleased to be welcoming Dr. Akinwuntan and his family to Nipawin and the Nipawin Medi-Clinc. Dr. Akinwuntan will be a great addition to the health care team in Nipawin,” stated Dr. Jordan Wingate, Area Chief of Staff, Northeast.
Saskatchewan Health Authority would like to encourage the community of Nipawin to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Akinwuntan and his family Bukkie (wife), Tomi (son), Toni (daughter) and Solar (family dog).
