Four Arrested After B&E’s in Tisdale, RCMP Working To Connect Recovered Items to Reported Thefts

The Tisdale RCMP have laid criminal charges resulting from the recent break and enter into Wicks Gas Station, The Falkon Theatre and Tisdale Riverside Golf Club .

The investigations culminated in a search warrant being executed in a residential apartment building in Tisdale on July 2, 2018.

A total of three youth (male) have been charged for their involvement with these break and enters, and an adult, Brendin Edworthy (23) of Tisdale, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, break and enter into Wicks Gas Station and Tisdale Riverside Golf Club, and numerous thefts from motor vehicles.

Edworthy made his first appearance in Tisdale Provincial Court on July 3, 2018. Edworthy remains in custody and will make his next court appearance on July 10, 2018. 1 youth has entered guilty pleas to his charges and received an open custody sentence. The 2 remaining youth have been released on conditions and will appear in Tisdale Provincial court on August 7, 2018.

Stolen property recovered from the search warrant included cell phones, knives, and wallets. These items are not readily identifiable. Investigators are working to identify and relate these items to reported Thefts.
