VANCOUVER, June 1, 2019 – FIELDS, a historical Canadian retailer serving many rural communities, has announced the launch of its newly revamped website. This new website is fully transactional and allows customers to shop online with ease and affordability.

The new website has a clean design, greatly improved functionality, and three convenient shopping options: reserve online and pick up in store, delivery to store, or delivery to home. Customers looking to save time can view and reserve items at no cost before picking up at FIELDS later that same day, or they can shop the website’s online-only expanded assortment and receive their package wherever they prefer – at their local FIELDS store, at home, or even at the post office.

Convenient online shopping experiences don’t always go hand-in-hand with living in a small town, so we’re excited for our customers to check out the site” says Dean Petruk, President and COO of FIELDS. “The new reaffirms our commitment to providing an affordable selection while remaining a central part of our communities.” also includes a unique concept named the Community Post. Serving as an online version of a local community bulletin board, the Community Post is a collection of the latest social and news stories meaningful to each store’s community. Some stories may be of interest to certain communities but not others, which is why each Community Post provides a tailored experience to its readers.

FIELDS stores have been a central part of Canadian communities for the better part of 70 years. Because their stores are located in rural and sometimes remote areas, they proudly offer their communities with additional shopping options at an affordable price.

Over the years, FIELDS has gone through a number of changes. Since 2012, they’ve been 100% Canadian owned and operated, with a team of 430+ across their 62 locations.
