Fatal Small Aircraft Accident Near Arborfield

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has deployed a team of investigators following a fatal small aircraft accident near Arborfield, Saskatchewan.

On July 12, 2018 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Carrot River RCMP, EMS, and Fire/Rescue responded to a complaint of an airplane crash in the RM of Arborfield.

The pilot and lone occupant of the plane was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the pilot will not be released.

This investigation is being led by Transportation Safety Board.

No further information is available at this time, though Nipawin News will continue to follow the incident and provide updates.
