Councillor Ray Serack Resigning From Town Of Nipawin Council

It is with sincere regret that Mayor and Council advise the ratepayers of the Town of Nipawin that Councillor Ray Serack tendered his resignation from Council, effective January 11, 2018, citing personal reasons.

Ray’s colleagues on Council extend their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks. While serving the ratepayers of Nipawin, Ray unfailingly approached his responsibilities on Council with a deep sense of commitment to ensuring the best interests of the community were carefully balanced with the needs of the residents. Ray brought significant strength to the Council table and a viewpoint and stance that encouraged thoughtful reflection in all matters by Council and administration.

Council will formally receive Ray’s resignation at its regular scheduled meeting of Monday, January 22nd, and Council will decide upon a date for the holding of the required municipal by-election at that time.
