Fort à la Corne Provincial Forest saw Saskatchewan’s largest wildfire of the 2020 season to date this week, which reached 1,275 hectares. According to Saskatchewan Wildfire Management the fire started on May 8th, 2020 is currently contained, and the cause has not yet been determined.

Just before 1:30 pm on Sunday October 13th, 2019, a John Deere combine caught fire as the farmers worked to get a quarter of standing canola off of a field approximately 1-1/2 miles east of the Village of White Fox, SK in the RM of Torch River.
