Saskatchewan RCMP investigate shooting in Candle Lake

Saskatchewan RCMP Media Release – On Saturday, September 12, 2020, just before 10 p.m., Saskatchewan RCMP received a 911 report of a male who had been shot inside a residence located on Industrial Drive in Candle Lake, SK. Smeaton, Nipawin and Prince Albert RCMP Detachments along with EMS immediately responded to the scene.

Armed Robberies: Wanted Pair Known to Frequent Yorkton, Prince Albert, Nipawin

Yorkton RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance locating two individuals wanted in connection to recent armed robberies in Theodore and Saltcoats, SK.

UPDATE: Aug 19, 2020 4:30 p.m – 34-year-old Garrett Hansen has been arrested. The Yorkton RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Kelsey Bloomfield (pictured below). She is known to frequent the Yorkton, Prince Albert, and Nipawin areas. Do not approach and please contact police if you see her or know her whereabouts.

Business sign vandalized, questionable activity at Nipawin Municipal Airport

Sometime between the evening of Thursday, June 25th 2020, and early morning on Friday June 26th, a sign for Brennan Jardine Aerial Spraying, located just west of Love, SK along Highway 55, was vandalized.

The word “SCAB”, with a homophobic slur below it, was spray painted on the sign.

RCMP recover truck stolen from Carrot River residence

Carrot River RCMP media release- On September 15, 2019 at 11:33 A.M., The Carrot River RCMP received complaint that suspect(s) got into an unlocked 1994 white Chevy 1500 and drove it away from a residence on 3rd Street West at Carrot River, Saskatchewan, at approximately 03:30 A.M. on that same day.
