Carrot River Fire Rescue Chief Terminated

CARROT RIVER, SASKATCHEWAN -Bud Charko, Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486 and Bob Gagne, Mayor of the Town of Carrot River are making a brief statement
regarding Carrot River Fire and Rescue.

The Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486 and the Town of Carrot River wishes to announce that as of 11:00 hrs today, May 22,2018,  Scott Debienne has been relieved of his duties as Chief of Carrot River Fire and Rescue.

Debienne has held the position of Chief of Carrot River Fire and Rescue since January 1,2014. During his time as Chief and as Vice Chief/Training Officer before that, a career with our municipalities
spanning over twenty nine years, Scott has been instrumental in training and leading a brigade of men and women to deliver a level of emergency services to our community that has been unprecedented.

No disruption in emergency services is expected at this time. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.

The Councils of the RM and the Town will not be fielding any further questions at this time, a further news release will be released at 12:00 pm
