RCMP Nipawin – CDSA Trafficking -Media Release May 24th, 2019 – On May 20th at 10:40pm, Nipawin and Smeaton RCMP members conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle within the Town of Nipawin. As a result of this stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted where 63 grams of methamphetamine, 23 pills of hydromorphone and 68 pills of buprenorphine were located and seized. Also located during the search was a can of bear spray, drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
