Stolen SUV, Possession of firearm, machete, etc- #55 Hwy east of Prince Albert,SK. On May 18th, 2018 at 11:53 hrs, a member of the Prince Albert RCMP Combined Traffic Services Unit stopped an eastbound SUV on the #55 Hwy east of Prince Albert, SK for speeding and confirmed that the vehicle was stolen out of Carrot River, SK.
Inside the vehicle was also a 22 caliber rifle, large machete, several bee-bee guns and ammunition. Four occupants in the vehicle aging 17, 16, 15 and 12 were arrested without incident.
All four youths have been charged with possession of stolen property over $5000.00, possession of stolen property under $5000.00, numerous firearms and weapons charges as well as breaches of probation and sentence orders.
Other charges have also been laid out of the Carrot River Detachment and investigations are ongoing with respect to the youth’s involvement with incidents reported there.
They all have been remanded in custody until their first court appearance in Prince Albert, SK on May 22, 2018.
