Interim Chief Announced for Carrot River Fire Rescue

CARROT RIVER, SASKATCHEWAN – Bud Charko, Reeve of the Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486 and Bob Gagne, Mayor of the Town of Carrot River are making a brief statement
regarding Carrot River Fire and Rescue.

The Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486 and the Town of Carrot River wishes to announce that as of 12:00 hrs today, May 22,2018, Dylan Borody has been appointed Interim Chief of Carrot River Fire and Rescue.

Borody has held the position of Lieutenant of Carrot River Fire and Rescue and has been a member since July of 2014. Borody brings a wealth of experience as a First Responder and three years as a member including being an integral part of our department’s response to the 2015 La Ronge wildfires. Borody has participated in many training opportunities offered during his time with us and originally came to this community as Paramedic.

Borody’s temporary appointment is made in order to continue to provide a sustainable level of service that the community has come to expect while the RM of Moose Range and the Town of Carrot River search for a permanent Fire Chief.
