Nipawin Fire Department Updates
September 3 at 10:45 pm · With harvest in full swing large equipment will be on the road day and night moving from field to field. Give yourself enough time to get where you’re going safely and give these guys the space they need.
September 4 at 9:07 pm · Remember School starts tomorrow! That means there will be lots of excited students in the school zones – be sure you pay extra attention to your driving!
Sept 4 – 1:14 pm – NFD responded to a residential fire alarm ringing in the Town of Nipawin. Upon arrival, the resident was pickling and experienced a minor cooking incident that activated the fire alarm. No injuries or damage to report. The homeowner has contacted the servicing company to ensure all functions are operating properly.
Sept 5 – 2:31 pm – Nipawin fire fighters responded to a field fire in the RM of Nipawin and provided assistance to the Aylsham Fire Department. A fire guard around the field, to prevent the fire from spreading, was made by the farmer with a disc harrow.
