Government of Saskatchewan Nov 5th, 2019– Who should get the flu shot? Even if you’re healthy and feel you can deal with getting the flu, consider your circle of friends and family. For those with chronic conditions or the very young who have not been exposed to influenza or are too young to get the vaccine, it can be a very serious, even fatal illness.
We particularly encourage high risk groups to get their vaccination:
- children under five years of age
- seniors
- pregnant women
- individuals with chronic health conditions, cancer or immune disorders
- caregivers and contacts of medically high-risk clients
