Harvest is virtually complete in the region thanks to a good stretch of warm and relatively dry weather. There are a few fields of crops such as canola, oats and flax left to be combined. Fall

Great progress was made again this week and 96 per cent of the crop is now combined, up from 92 per cent last week and just ahead of the five-year (2012-2016) average of 95 per cent for this time of year.
Tremendous harvest progress was made this past week, thanks to relatively warm and dry weather. Ninety-two per cent of the crop is now in the bin, up significantly from 78 per cent last week and ahead of the five-year (2012-2016) average of 88 per cent for this time of year.

A quarter of the region’s crops were harvested last week, thanks to some warm and dry weather. Many producers worked long hours to combine remaining crops before the weekend rain; some crop is coming off tough and being placed in aeration bins. Harvest ground to a halt this past week, thanks to the recent rainfall. Very little combining was done and harvest progress remains at 53 per cent.

Harvest is most advanced in the southwest, where 30 per cent of the crop is now combined. The southeastern region has 23 per cent combined, the west-central region 11 per cent and the east-central region four per cent.
