CROP REPORT FOR THE PERIOD MAY 8 TO 14, 2018

Thanks to good seeding conditions, Saskatchewan producers made up the time lost in previous weeks.  Thirty-five per cent of the crop is now in the ground, just ahead of the five-year (2013-2017) seeding average of 32 per cent for this time of year. Crop Report for the Period May 1 to 7, 2018

Seeding is underway for many producers, with more expecting to hit the field in the coming week. Nine per cent of the crop is now in the ground, behind the five-year (2013-2017) seeding average of 19 per cent for this time of year. Northeastern Saskatchewan Final Crop Report – Released on October 26, 2017
Crop District 8 – Hudson Bay, Tisdale, Melfort, Carrot River, Humboldt, Kinistino, Cudworth and Aberdeen areas
Crop District 9AE – Prince Albert, Choiceland and Paddockwood areas

Harvest is virtually complete in the region thanks to a good stretch of warm and relatively dry weather. There are a few fields of crops such as canola, oats and flax left to be combined. Fall

NE Crop Report – September 26 to October 2, 2017

Northeastern Saskatchewan Crop Report For:
 Crop District 8 – Hudson Bay, Tisdale, Melfort, Carrot River, Humboldt, Kinistino, Cudworth, and Aberdeen areas
 Crop District 9AE – Prince Albert, Choiceland, and Paddockwood areas

A quarter of the region’s crops were harvested last week, thanks to some warm and dry weather. Harvest is most advanced in the southwest, where 30 per cent of the crop is now combined. The southeastern region has 23 per cent combined, the west-central region 11 per cent and the east-central region four per cent.
